I Have A Confession To Make. (But Also A Lesson To Encourage You With!)

WOW. Today was the FIRST DAY we shared about our upcoming podcast in public! And we realized today that it happened to be the first day of Spring, too!

We can’t help but thank God for the all-too-fitting timing of new beginnings… and can’t say enough how EXCITED we are for all the amazing things he has in store ahead…

…and how HONORED we are that you’ve chosen to join us on this wild adventure he’s taking us all on! 🙌 

💬 A confession & lesson

I (Grace) have a confession to make.

This morning, I could sense myself starting to feel that all-too-familiar feeling of overwhelm, just looking at all the tasks I had on my to-do list this week.

I also felt growing pressure, since this week is the first week we’re sharing about this initiative—that’s close to our hearts—with the world! (Again, super exciting, yet it’s also a lot at the same time!)

So I basically vented to God. Told him honestly how I was feeling. Asked him for his presence, his peace, his perspective.

And I felt him asking me a question that really convicted me—and brought me so much more clarity and peace.

❓️ Reflection Question

What load are you carrying right now that you sense you're not supposed to be carrying... that God wants you to release to him and trust him with?

Take a few minutes each to open your hands in a posture of surrender, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you release it.

Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you this week in all that he knows actually needs to happen—and that he will make happen—as well as what he knows does not need to happen.
