QUICK ENCOURAGEMENT:
As Christmas gets closer, let's be real… staying focused on work and other daily tasks can be a STRUGGLE. The holidays can also come with a lot of complex feelings and emotions, on top of work stress, family tensions, events after events, etc…
In the midst of it all, remember to take a pause and do a little self check-in.
Vent to God honestly about how you're really doing.
Ask him to help reveal to you what your soul might really need or be craving.
Ask him to give you his perspective on the challenges and situations you're dealing with.
And then step out in obedience to follow what you sense God prompting you to do… even if it scares you or doesn’t seem to make “logical” human sense!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Life gets noisy and crowded - so especially during the holidays, don't forget to connect (and stay connected) with God.
Because 5 minutes simply sitting in God’s presence is so much more filling for the soul than 5 hours at the most luxurious Christmas party.
And one word from God is so much more powerful than scrolling through hundreds of Instagram reels. 🙂 🎄❤️
