Happy Monday, friends!!
We've ALL heard the motivational cliché: "Be yourself!"
Workplaces tell us to "bring your FULL self to work…"
Apps encourage us to BeReal…
BUT...
What does it even mean to be our AUTHENTIC selves? (No one talks about this!!) ❓️
HOW do we know if we are (or aren't)? 🤔
What does NOT doing it really cost us? 😳
And how do we PRACTICALLY navigate "self-discovery" God's way... and to live freely and fully as our TRUE selves? 🙌 🙌 🙌
It is SO COMMON for us not to even be AWARE that we're wearing masks, because we've normalized or have gotten so used to it living out of a "false self." (Grace recently posted about her own experience of doing this.)
Today, we're unpacking all of this and more through our own journeys of navigating this very real tension - and candidly sharing what has helped us (and continues to help us) discover, embrace, and live as the people God authentically and uniquely made each of us to be.
